Okay…it’s taken me thirty years (and working with the greatest makeup artist, Kristina K.) to figure out what works best for me when it comes to makeup. Unlike fashion, doing my makeup didn’t come as naturally to me, so I wanted show you some of my favorite products that have become part of my daily routine.
I’m not a huge foundation person and I always think the more natural the better when it comes to the skin. The Nars Tinted Mousturizer just brightens my skin, evens out my complexion, and with minimal coverage. I then use the Nars Illuminator on my cheek bones and down the bridge of my nose. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff!
Now, let’s talk BROWS!!! A bold brow is my favorite thing in the world, but it took me millions of products to find the best. Kristina introduced me to the Anastasia Brow wiz pencil…and I owe her my first born for it!! I use that to fill in my bare spots and then I go over it with this awesome Brow Powder Duo. (My color is Taupe which also took me a million tries to figure out.)
And now for the lips….I am very into a berry lip right now, and I found the ultimate color!! It’s Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Chocolate Cherry. (This can be used on lips and cheeks, which is awesome.) It’s so creamy and you can wear as much or as little of it as you want to create a more subtle or dramatic look.
If I want to bump up my look for nighttime, my secret weapon is found in most drug stores!! It’s the Ardell Demi lash (#318). They are so pretty, so easy to apply, and so inexpensive!!!
